William contracted Schizophrenia at age 8 through a series of life events. This didn’t become obvious until his early 20s when something was noticed that would need attention.

By age 25 he had become severely withdrawn to the point of him losing contact with his surroundings and therefore was deemed to be a possible danger to himself.

He volunteered to be checked out by qualified doctors and was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. He chose to fight for a healthy life right from the beginning and by seeking the Lord and much prayer from close loved ones he gradually improved.

Of course he reluctantly went along with medical advise until he learned through maturing that cooperation with a medical team was a big part of successfully managing along with the acquisition of a social support network and the practice of a Spiritual life.

About 40 years transpired until through prayers and contact with gifted Christian minister’s he was healed from the spiritual source of this disease. Now with a little medication his functionality is where he now has a regular life.
